Farmer’s Fair at Kaleshwar, Chamoli on 3^rd and 4^th February 2010.

The farmer’s fair is organized for dissemination of knowledge and information on   various techniques of production, harvesting and value addition. The farmers could get on the spot solution to their problems related to production and plant diseases. This fair is being organized by HARC on 3^rd and 4^th February 2010 at Kaleshwar, Chamoli. Various technical demonstrations will be organized in the fair.

Objective of farmer’s fair

The objective behind organizing farmer’s fair is to provide support to farmers in accessing agriculture techniques, increase production along with increasing technical information and to develop a strong network of agribusiness and agri techniques by providing a common platform to different stakeholders linked with agribusiness

• Workshop on Medicinal and Aromatic plant production

• Workshop on Flower production

• A meeting on vegetable production

• An exhibition on agri input products
• Interface of farmers with experts on agri techniques
• Live demonstration on agri techniques
• A camp on Purv Sainani Anshdayi yojana
